Palmer School of Excellence Open Trials

Our open football trial days are an opportunity to showcase your skills, but also to demonstrate your commitment, sportsmanship, and ability to work within a team environment. It’s important to stay focused, give your best effort, and be open to learning and feedback.

Trial fee: £10

What to expect

On the day players will engage in a variety of activities, including skill drills, small-sided games, and match scenarios designed to assess their skills, fitness and potential for joining PSOE. Coaches and scouts will closely observe each player’s abilities, such as ball control, passing accuracy, decision-making, teamwork, and adaptability on the pitch. Beyond technical skills, trials also evaluate a player's attitude, work ethic, and passion for the game.
