Palmer School of Excellence – Elite Football Training

Effective Date: 20th May 2025

1. Contract Term and Commitment

1.1 All enrolments at Palmer School of Excellence (“PSOE”) are subject to a 12-month contract

commitment.

1.2 Ongoing participation is subject to bi-annual performance and attendance reviews.

1.3 Members may terminate the contract by providing a minimum of 30 days’ written

notice, subject to clause 5.

1.3 Players are expected and encouraged to commit to all available training sessions within their

programme, and be available for fixtures within reason.

1.4 Failure to meet required standards may result in early termination of the contract by PSOE

2. Cooling-Off Period

2.1 New members are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of enrolment.

2.2 During this period, written cancellation will result in a full refund, minus any sessions

already attended or services used.

3. Fees and Payment

3.1 Fees are to be paid on the 1st of the month in advance, and are collected via Class for Kids.

3.2 Late payments will incur a fixed fee of £6.80 per instance.

3.3 Repeated late payment may result in suspension or termination of the child’s place.

4. Training Schedule and Closures

4.1 Training sessions will follow the calendar year, with a break for Christmas from the week

commencing 22nd December, resuming the week commencing 5th January.

4.2 If a scheduled training session is cancelled due to a first-team home fixture, that session will

be credited with one (1) holiday camp day, redeemable during the next scheduled holiday

camp within the calendar year – no refund will be issued for the session.

4.3 End of Season Close Down – 18th May 2026 – 1st June 2026.

5. Cancellation and Termination

5.1 Members wishing to cancel must provide 30 days’ written notice via email.

5.2 No partial refunds will be issued for unattended sessions, except in cases of medically

verified absence or with prior agreement, whereby your subscription may be paused.

5.3 PSOE reserves the right to terminate the contract with immediate effect for breaches of

conduct, poor attendance, or underperformance.

6. Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct

6.1 All parents and guardians agree to:

     a) Show respect to all players, staff, officials, and fellow spectators.

     b) Avoid coaching or instructing from the sidelines.

     c) Use appropriate language and maintain a positive environment.

6.2 Breaches of this code may result in a formal warning, suspension, or permanent removal of the child from the programme.

6.3 Parents to read and accept complete parent code of conduct upon sign up via Spond

7. Footwear and Kit Policy

7.1 All players must wear appropriate football footwear for the surface being used (e.g.,

moulded studs for grass, astro trainers for 3G pitches).

7.2 Players without correct footwear may not be allowed to participate, in the interest of safety.

7.3 Official Palmer School of Excellence training kit must be worn at all sessions unless otherwise stated.

8. Health and Safety

8.1 Parents/guardians must inform PSOE of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries that

could affect the child’s participation.

8.2 In emergencies, staff are authorised to act in the best interest of the child, including seeking medical assistance.

9. Liability

9.1 PSOE will take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and welfare of participants.

9.2 However, PSOE accepts no responsibility for personal injury or loss of property except where caused by proven negligence.

10. Amendments

10.1 PSOE reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions with 14 days’ notice.

Continued attendance after this period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
